Today we will see the most busiest railway stations in India             

1. Howrah Junction Railway Station




        The name of the Howrah railway station is Howrah Junction. This station was inaugurated in 1854. it located in Howrah, West Bengal. This is the oldest and largest railway station of India. 23 numbers of railway platforms which is highest ever in India. More than a million people using this station everyday. More than 600 passenger trains are passes through this station which make the most busiest station in India.

2. New Delhi Railway Station

 

        New delhi raiway station is the second busiest railway station in India which contribute more 5 lakh passengers everyday. Also everyday more than 480 trains passes everyday. There are 16 number of platforms. This raiway station is the hab of rajdhani express also most number of Shatabdi Express passes through this station. New Delhi railay station is also have largest interlocking system in the world. Also it has highest earning among all the railway stations of India.

3. Kanpur Central Railway Station


         Kanpur Central Railway  Station is also called Cawnpore North Barracks (CNB)is located in the Kanpur city in Uttar Pardesh. . All trains passing through this station stop here, including premium trains like Rajdhani, Shatabdi, Duranto, Humsafar, Tejas, Vande Bharat, and all superfast, mail and passenger trains. Nearly more than 450000 no. of passengers using this station. This station have 10 number of platforms and being operational from 1930. Kanpur Central has undergone a beautification and modernisation effort in recent years.

 

 

4. Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction Railway Station


         Mughalsarai Junction is officially known as Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction is a railway station in the town of Mughalsarai in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Mughalsarai yard has to around 450–500 trains in a month which makes him the largest yard in Asia. Gaya- Mughalsarai section is the busiest section in the Indian Railways and also is the life line of the country. Here 8 platform are in present. It is being operational from 1862 with the name Mughalsarai. In 2017 its named changed to Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction.


5. Kalyan Junction Railway Station

    

        Kalyan Junction railway station is a major railway junction station on the central line of the Mumbai Suburban Railway network, located in at the junction of the north-east and south-east lines of the suburban Mumbai division of the Central Railway. It was built in 1854. More than 300 trains passes everyday and about 200000 passenger travel through this station everyday.
